The Fremont Theater | April 19-20, 2024
We're coming to San Luis Obispo, CA for our spring Wild + Free conference at the Fremont Theater on April 19-20, 2024. Join 900 Wild + Free mamas for two days of insight, inspiration, encouragement, and community.
This gathering will feature main-stage keynotes, great music, guest artists, a Wild + Free storefront, access to the charming sights and sounds of the city outside the door, and some big surprises we can't wait to share!
We may not all homeschool the same, but we're in this together.

Aubrey and Jen McGowan are high school sweethearts-turned-married soul mates who fill their home with music, babies, love, and laughter.
They write songs that tell the story of their lives and carry all the musical influences of their sweet Tennessee homeland. When not performing together, Aubrey & Jen can be found wrangling their kids, chickens, and dog at their country home, which is always undergoing a remodeling project.
You can find their EP of original songs wherever music is sold
The dream-pop duo is made up of husband-and-wife Jesse and Alta Keller who are based in Nashville where they make beautiful music and babies.
Alta, also known as Elta, showcased her solo electronic talent with the 2023 release "slow season." Jesse, an accomplished film composer, gained recognition for projects like "The Listening Road" and “The Luckiest Man" and is set to score the 2024 documentary "Croft."
Together, Jesse and Alta create music that weaves stories of love, conflict, loss, hope, and adventure into every song. Their emotive music has featured on platforms like Netflix, Hulu, TLC, ABC, BRAVO, and MTV.

On Parking
There is plenty of first-come, first-served, metered street parking in downtown San Luis Obispo, as well as a number of hourly parking garages. You can find more parking information on SLO's official parking website.
On Volunteers:
Wild + Free conferences are run by a small but mighty team of volunteers who work hard to create an unforgettable experience for the mamas who attend. We're looking for a few servant-hearted, kind and welcoming to join our team. We can't promise you a spot, but to apply click here.
On Matters of Faith:
Some of our presenters are women of faith, others are not. Everyone is welcome, but we realize this event might not be the right fit for those who want an exclusively faith-based event or an exclusively secular event.
On Cancellations and Refunds:
Tickets are non-refundable, but you can transfer them to another woman if you are no longer able to attend. Look for buyers at #wildandfreeconf and transfer your ticket to the purchaser with instructions provided on the ticket - or at this link. Tickets are not transferable to any other event.
On Sponsorships:
Due to space limitations, we don't have exhibits at this event. However, we do have room for several virtual sponsors to underwrite key moments. To learn more about this opportunity, email us at team@bewilandfree.org.
You can email hello@wildandfree.co with any other questions.
