The Farm Village is a magical place, and we've been working overtime to transform the property. But the main lodge is tired from decades of use and isn't quite ready for guests. One day, we'll remodel the entire place, but until then, we need new beds to create a comfortable place for guests to stay.
We're launching a campaign called "Buy A Bunk" to outfit all 52 beds with a new mattress, pillow, bedding, towel set, and storage cart. You can impact the lives of those who visit the Farm Village by providing a clean, cozy, and comfortable place to stay with your tax deductible gift of $300 per bed.
Will I Actually Own the Bunk?
No, it's just a catchy name we came up with to describe the fundraising campaign. By donating $300 per bed, you'll help us replace one complete bed. If you attend a retreat, you can sleep in the one you outfitted. =)
How Soon Are You Trying to Do This?
In time for our fall retreats beginning in late October.
How Did You Come up With $300 Per Bed
We need a new mattress, mattress protector, pillow, bedding, towel set, and storage cart for each bed and have been searching for the best deals on these items without compromising quality. This is the resulting amount.
What Happens if You Raise More Money Than What's Needed?
We'll use any extra funds to purchase additional sets of each item in order to have extras. We also need a commercial washer and dryer.
Can I Donate More than $300?
Absolutely. Some people have already donated 2, 3, and 4 beds.
